What is that relay for and does it have something to do with starting the car

I am having trouble starting my 94 honda accord everytime I urn the key I just hear a clicking noise me and my friend pulled the radio out and the clicking was coming from a relay on the passenger side behind the radio what is that relay for and does it have something to do with starting the car
