Hello, I have a 1994 Honda Accord DX with 203,000 miles and I'm having problems with the engine running rough. I start it cold and it runs normal with rpm's a little high and engine accelerates smoothly off idle. I'll let it sit at idle and as soon as it get to operating temperature it roughly idles low at approx. 500 rpm and will now stumble off idle and feels rough as I rev the engine. If I turn on accessaries the engine may drop rpms, or even shut off at times. I changed the plugs, cap and rotor recently. I've used this website for reference and now really need specific help anything you can suggest will be greatly appreciated.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE EGR

Run engine to operating temperature and allow it to idle.
Attach a vacuum gauge to EGR vacuum hose.
Locate EGR vacuum solenoid.
Using a jumper wire, ground signal wire from ECM to EGR vacuum solenoid.
Vacuum should be present at EGR vacuum hose.
On some engine speed may have to be increased 3000-4000 RPM.
Connect a vacuum pump to EGR valve.
Start engine.
Apply vacuum to EGR valve.
If engine runs rough or stalls, and gauge holds vacuum, EGR valve is functioning properly.

If the EGR system is tested out to be good, have the idle system system checked.

Seems the idling is too low and it could be due to a dirty throttle body and IAC valve. Have them cleaned and retest.
