What do the timing marks look like for a 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3 litre engine. The timing belt has been removed and the Crank has been turned slightly so I need to get it back in time. Also not sure if the valves can be damaged if I turn the crank without the timing belt on. Any tips or procedures would help. Thanks.

I answered it myself with a little web browsing. The following picture answered my crank timing issue. Hope it helps someone else.

Here is another picture that may help. There is a second (diamond shaped) mark on the aux pulley that has to be lined up on some models. Maybe this pic will help.

No it does not. This drive just runs the oil pump and there is no balance or timing problems

Hello -
To better assist you is your model just the Ranger or the Splash. Also what is your engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.
