What do the timing marks look like for a 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3 litre engine. The timing belt has been removed and the Crank has been turned slightly so I need to get it back in time. Also not sure if the valves can be damaged if I turn the crank without the timing belt on. Any tips or procedures would help. Thanks.

I answered it myself with a little web browsing. The following picture answered my crank timing issue. Hope it helps someone else.

Here is another picture that may help. There is a second (diamond shaped) mark on the aux pulley that has to be lined up on some models. Maybe this pic will help.
