We currently cannot figure out why our brake light will not work. The signal will work, just not the brake part. We have replaced the light bulbs, checked to make sure power is getting there ( turn signal works). We also checked the fuse; which we have had to replace when this first started. At the same time our barking/emergency brake light flashes at us. Not sure if the two go hand in hand, but it they seem to since they stared at the same time.

With turn signal switch in neutral position, the dark green wire for stop lamp should be hot, when brake switch is activated. Use voltage tester. Your lower brake lites are wired through the turn signal switch. If you want to check voltage to the stop lamp fuse, that will work. Check voltage to and from the brake switch, orange wire is voltage to the brake switch, hot all the time. When the brake switch is activated, the white wire becomes hot and carries voltage for brake lites to the turn signal switch.
