Took 350 out of car that was fuel injected. Wont to put it in a car that has a calibrator. When I went to do this I took off the intake manifold put the 4 barrel carb intake. Then took plate off the side of motor were fuel pump goes put fuel pump on. But now the motor is in and the fuel pump is not working I have done all I can think of to get it to work but I still wont work even tried a different fuel pump. What I wont to know is that does the fuel injected motor have the stuff inside to make the fuel pump work or not?

The cam is what ran the old style pump. THere was a lobe that was there just for the pump. I don't think the newer engines have that. You will need to get a low pressure electric pump to run it.
