MY 1986 FORD F250 (5.0LTR, FUEL INJECTED) WILL NOT START. I RECENTLY REPLACED THE TIMING GEAR AND CHAIN (LESS THAN 1,000 MILES AGO) AND IT RAN GREAT AFTERWARDS. I HAVE REPLACED ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING THE BRAIN), TIMING IT TO MANUFACTURE'S SPECIFICATION (10 DEGREES BTC) AND IT HAS GREAT FIRE THROUGH THE PLUGS. I HAVE INSTALLED NEW FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER, FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR, AND THE PRESSURE IS GREAT. I REPLACED THE SEALS ON ALL THE INJECTORS AND THE INJECTORS ARE WORKING GREAT.

I HAVE FIRE AND FUEL AS SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURE, BUT THE ENGINE WILL NOT START.

YOUR HELPFUL ASSISTANCE WITH THIS ISSUE WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Are the injectors pulsing? Not sure use a noid lite on the injector harness-

If both fuel and spark is present-check the valve and ignition timing, this will lead you to problems
with compression and valves opening and closing at the wrong time/broken or jumped timing
belt/chain.

THE INJECTORS ARE PULSING. THE TIMING CHAIN AND GEARS ARE NEW AND UNBROKEN. THE VALVE AND IGNITION TIMING ARE IN SYNC AS SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER.

Just a little hard to understand!

Happy Easter to you!

Raz--No takey over, Just a little double teaming, to get him out of your shop and running! 'Sides, ain't much going on for us to do!

How did you arrive a At "TDC" with #1 piston? We must doubt everyone, Even each other! Usually someone missed a step.

A little shot of fuel down the Throttle Body has what kind of reaction, when cranking?

Your Turn
