Won't turn over or start

I had the battery replaced (die hard sears) the starter (by a mechanic) and have had complete tune up including spark plug cables. The truck runs fine but after I turn it off and try to restart it the starter will not turn over. After the truck sits for a long while it turns over fine and starts right up.

I would look at the ignition switch, wiring and the neutral saftey switch.

The mechanic I took the truck to has replaced the battery cable and solenoid I am picking it up today so we shall see.
