CHECK

POSITIVE WIRE TO COIL FOR VOLTAGE--KEY "ON"

POSITIVE WIRE TO COIL FORE VOLTAGE--KEY "START"

IF NONE, WITH "ON"

CHECK RESISTANCE WIRE/ BALLAST RESISTOR.....THIS WOULD COME FROM THE "ON" POSITION OF THE IGN SWITCH TO THE COIL

THE INITIAL "FIRING" MAY BE FROM "I" TERMINAL AT THE SOLENOID--THIS IS NORMAL AND CORRECT (IF YOUR IS SET UP THAT WAY---REFER TO THE PICS AND EXPLANATIONS IN THE "BOTTOM", OF THE LINK I SEND YOU)

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CORRECT COIL

COULD BE A FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH

DO YOU HAVE POINTS?....OF ELECTRONIC IGNITION?

SORTA USE MY LINK, EXPLANATIONS AND PICS TO TEST VOLTAGES, WHEN AND WHERE THEY SHOULD OCCUR

LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPS OR YOU NEED MORE ENCOURAGEMENT!

I HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE TO OFFER, IF YOU STILL AIN'T GOT IT!
