My climate control center stopped working. I bought and installed a new one. Everything is working except I have no power to the A/C, vents, or defrost buttons, and there are no lights on the unit when I turn on my headlights. I have checked the fuses and relays, and they seem to be fine. That is the extent of my diagnostic ability. Any Suggestions?

Hi,

If you replaced the controller, my first suspect is the totally integrated control module. However, anything is possible.

First, check fuse 34 in the power distribution box under the hood. In addition to checking the fuse, confirm there is power to and from it.

Next, if the controller is new, do you mean AC, Vents, and Defrost selections don't respond? Let me know.

Also, at the controller connector, I need you to locate a pink wire with a yellow tracer. Check to see if that wire has power. Also, at the same connector, locate the black wire with a white tracer. Check that wire for continuity to ground.

I attached a pic of the wiring schematic below. The pic identifies the wires and fuses to check.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

joe
