When I take my foot off the gas it will shut down. If I don't step the accelerator it will not properly start totally it only cranks.

Hi,

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is very limited. However, based on your description, it sounds like there is an issue with a component called an idle air control valve. If it is not allowing air to bypass the throttle plate at idle, the engine won't idle or start.

Take a look through these two links. They describe how to service one as well as replacement.

Let me know if that helps.

Take care,
Joe
