Did you plug in the crankshaft angle sensor? If so lets read the codes to see what they say. Here is a guide to help you get the job done:

Please let us know what you find.

I have taken my vehicle to numerous mechanics in the past week. All winter it’s been having problems starting up if it’s the first time I’ve driven it in a day, and especially if the temperature falls below freezing. After that, the car starts up fine for the rest of the day until the next morning again. When I’m trying to start it, the engine will turn over and over but it doesn’t catch. Sometimes if I pump the gas once or five times it’ll work, with a loud vroom and accompanying screeching sound. Sometimes if I wait and pray and just try it again it works. Sometimes nothing works. I literally just bought a new battery this week and every mechanic says the car checks out fine. Often my SLIP and VDC OFF lights come on when I’m driving and I don’t know what that means. Help please!

Good morning,

Have you left the car for them to experience the issue first thing in the morning?

I suspect a fuel pump. It sounds like the pressure is bleeding off overnight and needs to reprime.
