Air Conditioning problem
1996 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The ac was working b4 compresor bearing went. I bought new compresor and then it started cycling then stop. So it's not sucking in the free on. It's acting like it's stuck, it's not cycling with the rpm going up and down up and down.

The compressor is supposed to cycle. The length of the cycle is dependent on air temperature. If the cycle is too short, it indicates a low charge, and adding refrigerant should bring it back to normal.
