My truck hesitates under acceleration around 45-55 mph. It runs fine but uses a LOT of gas. I just replaced the motor with a 9000 mile motor. It's giving me P1131 & P1132 codes. I've checked the catalytic converters and the EGR valve operation. Like I said it runs fine except for the hesitation and the gas guzzling.

You need to look at the o2 sensors
P0131 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

P0132 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I took it to a qualified mechanic in my area - rather than throw parts at it. It turned out to be a bad O2 sensor. He said that it showed a negative voltage reading back to the computer. With that changed, the truck runs perfectly.
