Had a problem where the central locking was unlocking all doors except passenger side rear door (had to open the passenger door, deadlock the doors and open the passenger rear door from the inside, then unlock all the doors again).

It was suggested the fuse may have blown, the fuse was then removed to be looked at and inserted back into place. Upon reinserting the fuse, the central locking now does not work at all, including the door lock button on the dash.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Please understand that this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical info is very limited. However, the idea that when you reinstalled the fuse, nothing worked most likely indicates an issue with the fuse or the fuse box.

Although a fuse may appear good, it could still bad. With that, remove the fuse again and first check the pins in the fuse box where the fuse mounts. Make sure the are not pushed in, corroded, or damaged in any way,

Next, to truly check the fuse, take a multi meter and check for continuity through the fuse, There should be no resistance in the fuse and power should flow straight through,

If that is good, take a test light and make sure there is power to the fuse. With the fuse out, one side will have power and the other won't. When you reinstall the fuse, power should flow from the supply side through the fuse and out the other side.

Based on your description, it sounds like something isn't making good contact at the fuse box which caused the original problem and when the fuse was removed and reinstalled, the connection was lost. It is important to confirm the fuse is good as well as you do have power to the fuse itself.

Also, on many vehicles, there is a relay that works in conjunction with the central locking system. If it failed, that can be the cause. I don't have the schematic for this vehicle to check, but when you are looking in the fuse / relay box, see if one is indicated.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
