2007 Dodge Nitro Repair Question

Brake warning light...
I have a 2007 Nitro. When I am at a stop light for a few minutes the Brake warning light comes on. It started right after the car had it's yearly state inspection so I know the brakes are okay. What could cause this?

If its the brake indicator and not the abs light the first thing i would check is if your brake fluid is low in the master cylinder.Then i would check your ebrke switch.
