Wrong fuel

My daughter accidentally put.2 of a gallon of diesel in my Escalade she realized what she did and switch to regular gasoline and put eight gallons of regular gas in and drove home about twenty miles. She said the truck drove fine no problems. The gas gauge read half a tank. Do I need to worry?

She showed me the receipt it said.2 gallon for about $0.50 cent of diesel.

That little diesel fuel. Will not hurt anything in the fuel system.

If it were two gallons then we would be having a different conversation.

Thank you for your help. I didn’t want to move it. I’m going to the gas and top off my tank and maybe put some injector cleaner. Thank you again have a good Holiday.
