Fuel gauge shows low fuel on the gauge although I have more than half tank?

I am having problem with my 2002 Escalade. Sometimes it is showing of fuel. But as soon as I start driving the vehicle it slowly gets back to normal. Is it the fuel sensor? Or Pump? Where is it located? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

You may want to call the dealership, some of GM fuel level senders are sold separate. The cost is approximately $160. And yes, you will have to remove the fuel tank.
