My friend was driving down the road when his car was losing power and started bucking, he pulled over and shut the car off and it would not start again. Will turn over but won’t start. Replaced fuel pump, coil packs and plate but still won’t start. Where should I look next? I read maybe the crank sensor!

Hello,

Is the check engine light illuminated?
If it is, then it will be a good idea to scan and retrieve the code(s), as it can help with the diagnostics.

One of the possibilities is having a faulty crankshaft position sensor. A failed crank sensor will allow the engine to crank over but not start.

Take a look at these helpful guides:

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
