Engine loss of power

My car is having trouble acceleration As I accelerate, it slightly shakes and feels like it has trouble getting to 30 mph. After 30mph, it will rev but not accelerate at all which causes my engine heat to rise past normal. What could this be?

I had a spark plug the insulator fall apart, all new plugs and voila! Runs great.
