Went to start the truck after it had been sitting for a while. Turned the key and heard a clicking noise, figured the battery was dead so I tried jumping it off, still wouldn’t start. Left the battery hooked up for 15 minutes and tried again and still nothing. I went and bought a jump box and hooked it up to the battery for over 30 minutes. Tried to start it again and still nothing. Now there is no clicking noise and it’s not even attempting to turn over. Even the automatic locks won’t work. What can I do?

Good afternoon,

What is the voltage at the battery? It sounds like you have a shorted battery that will not take a jump.
