Changed my alternator then 3 days later while driving on the freeway all of a sudden my car wouldn't drive faster than 45 MPH. My A/C stopped working as well as my other 2 gauges (my gas and speedometer gages are the 2 that still work the other 2 gauges do absolutely nothing). I got new spark plugs new coils put in because I was told that was the issue. But changing them helped nothing. I've had 6 different people on 6 different attempts to connect my car to the reader to see what's wrong with it, but each time my car won't read anything. I'm a 30 year old single mom of 3 kids under 6 I absolutely have to have a running car and can't afford to buy a new one so I'm desperate to find out what's wrong with my car.

Sounds like we may have a couple issues.

First we need to know what codes are there in order to determine what the possible causes are.

The fact that we cannot communicate with the scan tools points to a possible fuse issue with the DLC. We need to look at fuse 9 in the under hood fuse box.

Below is a copy of the wiring diagram and fuse box.

Here is a guide that will help with low power issues:

Let's run through this info and we can go from there. Thanks
