Will not crank or start

The security light is on all the time. Can’t get any codes from the truck. The fuel and injectors are shut off. Tried everything to disable security system. Nothing works.

Hi,

Here is a guide that explains what happens with these systems. Also, there is a GM specific section that talks about how to disarm the system.

Also, what is meant by you can't get codes? Normally when this light is on, there are codes to go with it. Please refer to the attached document from the service manual. The codes are needed to tell for sure what is happening.
