Possibilities here could be the starter motor, starter relay, transmission range switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.

Wow. One would think people could be more responsible. Things have changed over the years. There was a time when one's character meant something. If you told someone you would do something, you made sure you were there to do it. Not anymore.

Let me know.

Found another mobile mechanic 3 days ago.I was at work. He got it to start. He left. My wife got in it to pick me up at work an hour later and another no start. He said he would come back. He didn't and won't respond, so another person ripped me off. Still no transportation and I will lose my job over this and shady people who claim to be certified mechanics.

By any chance, did this one leave a receipt with what was done to make it start? I have to be honest, you may be better off having it towed to a reliable shop at this point because I truly feel, based on your description, it is something with the immobilizer (anti theft). If I am correct, it will require a scanner to relearn the system. If you have a spare key, try it to see if it makes a difference.

Let me know.

Hi, I'll ask my wife if he left one. He has blocked her number.I called another myself and stood there with him. He informed me that I am indeed locked out and will need to call a mobile locksmith to the house for a new key. What a nightmare!

I had a feeling. Chances are to get it running, they did what I originally suggested wait 10 minutes and see if the light goes out. Do you have a spare key to try or have you already done that?

Spare key will not work either. First time using a mobile mechanic and cost me money I didn't have. Lost everything, starting over so looking where I can save a little. You have been extremely helpful and I will let you know how I make out. Thank you!

Hello, Envoy is toast at the dealership and they said it needs a wiring harness, CPU, and other things to get a scan. Over two grand and they are not sure if it will fix it. Heck of a way to start the new year. Thanks for all your help!

Wow! Was the wiring damaged by any of the people that came to you to repair it?

It sounds like someone got into things they shouldn't have. I hope things get better for you. Let me know how things work out with the vehicle, and let me know if you have questions or need anything.

Take care of yourself.

Thank you! Lesson learned about mobile mechanics. Research them if you have to use one. I am deaf in one ear and don't do well on phones, so I was dependent on my wife and daughter (know everything, lol) and between all of them this is where it got me. Not blaming but who knows. Take care and thanks again!

OMG! You made me laugh. My wife is deaf in one ear, but she is the same as what you deal with. I'm sorry to hear you have such a problem. I often feel bad for her because I know she struggles.

Please feel free to come back any time you have a problem. I hope the new year brings you much better luck.

Take care and hope to hear from you in the future. (Not saying I hope you have car problems.)LOL

It's been an experience. Thanks for getting me info. Rebuilding everything from scratch. My daughter said she would buy me a used car soon.I am going to get mine back and use it as a driveway ornament until I do something with it.I could have an engine installed for half the cost of the dealership fix!Take care and thanks again for all your help.
