Will 360 Magnum engine Fit in a 79 Ram d100 or 89 Ram w150?

I have a 96 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 engine and the front end is crashed but engine and tranny are perfect. I wanna buy another truck and drop that engine and tranny in it. I was wondering what other trucks I could drop this engine and tranny in. Also I was looking into a 1979 dodge d100, would my engine and tranny fit in that truck? Let me know, thanks

Yes, it will fit, but you have to change everything from the old truck to the new one. This can become trouble.

NOTE: Because there always seems to be problems when years / models are changed, we only recommend direct fit parts.
