Mr. Roy, I have done that nothing. The book said something about that wire to unplug disconnect negative on battery. I guess so ECM will reset or something but plugging wire back in and hooking the battery back up I don't know how that will reset set the ECM. I don't know if I need to try and crank it first and then plug the wire up. I have no idea.

Disconnecting the cable does nothing. There is nothing reset on the old systems.

Just plug the bypass in and see what happens.

I really don't think this will matter, but the hot wire at the coil I straight wired my fan there. I know its not the right way to do things. I am just trying to find a spot that cuts off when the key cuts off. I am planing on fixing that. The fan is the only thing that didn't work at the time

It will sit there and run good even when I undo the wire for the fan.

Okay, another possibility is the ECM.

Try tapping on it while it is running to see if it stutters and stalls. Common problem with those old ones.

Hey, Roy

i got the car running perfect. I was driving on my road back an forth an all of a sudden it back fired and cut off. I had to redo the time on the side of the road an it ran rough. Got it in the shop redid the timing again it keeps wanting to run rough. So I will redo the time, but now I am done redoing timing. It will turn over crank for a second an cut off this car driving me crazy instead of me driving it crazy. Do you have any idea? I am going to crush it.
