Hello, I had my car in the shop for a water leak on the back floorboards. Seems like just water. Only leaks when driven. Wheel wells were cleaned/checked. Still leaks. Seems to be leaking from the driver seat belt area (on floor, in back where it fastens' hooks on to) right next to the "hump" that goes through the center of the car. My other Buick had a similar issue, but was never really resolved. Ideas? Thanks.

Good afternoon.

There are plugs in the floor on both sides when the floor pan is made. They may be either missing or not seated correctly.

Did the shop remove or lift the rug and check these plugs?

When it is dry outside, does it still leak water?

Has the AC system been checked to be sure the case is not leaking under the dash to the back seat area?

These are all great tips. I will relay them to my auto mechanic. He has only cleaned the wheel wells, so far. Thank you!

And, yes even when it is dry outside, it still gets wet.

You are welcome.

Have him check the drain for the AC housing. That may be the source of the water.

Always glad to help.
