Went dead won't crank

My Sportage was running fine I slowed down to park and it went dead. Had New timing belt 2 years ago. Got fire at plugs still won't crank. Tried ether just turned over would not crank. What now?

Hello,

It sounds like the battery shorted out. To confirm lets use this guide to test it, also lets check the battery cables. Here are two guides to help get us started:
