Misfire in cylinder 3. why would this cause the VSC light and trac to be on?

Check engine, VSC and track control lights are on and flashing with code p0303

It will not. The code is for a misfire for a number 3 cylinder. I would start by checking the compression.

Your scan tool cannot read the other code. You need a more advanced scan tool to read the codes for the ABS system.
