The air conditioning works fine for about 5 minutes after starting the car at the beginning of the day or after it sits for about 4 hours. After 5 minutes the Air Conditioning cuts out and blows warm air until the car sits for about 4 hours again. What is causing this?

Hi
Well could be several things first need gague readings to check charge and compressor function. Also when it cuts out need voltage test to see if compressor getting voltage or relay or controler, etc.
Is AC system Automatic or Manual?
