Hey man I know iscrewed up. But
my 1985 volvo 240DL engine colling system had water in it
the system froze
i thought I thawed it all out with hot water
i went for a 1/2 mile drive after letting it warm up for 5 min
my car over heated
i realized I didnt completely thaw everything and ther wasnt any water getting to my engine from the resevoir
then I completely thawed evrythig
now when I put water in the resevoir I can hear it pour out just as fast as I pour it in
it is coming out the bottom rear passenger side of my engine
i dont have my jack to see whats going on
could it be a blown head gasket or could it be the block or.
any way to know?

Im pretty sure Volvos have " freeze" plugs. They are metal plugs driven into the sides of the block so when the water freezes and expands, the plugs will pop out of the block instead of cracking it
