Hi. I would like the advice weather to repair or scrap my VW polo. Its 1.4 16V (year 1999)engine with 68 000miles on clock.
I took it to garage to get timing belt changed and when I collected it, engine started making noise but it stopped before I got back to garage.
after a week the oil light came on. After a week it started making a lot of noise so changed oil but white and black smoke came out of exhoust when oil was changed. The car drove for another mile and then stopped. Now it does not start.

Hey ivana
It sounds like you may have a blown head gasket. But I would recommend you get it properly diagnosed first and get an estimate on the repairs.
