I have the car listed above EX model. The air flow from the passenger sides vents are not blowing much. There is some air but not the normal amount there used to be. This is happening regardless if the A/C or heat is on, the driver side vents blow full blast but the passenger side vents don't blow very much. I've already cleaned the cabin air filter. I've also tested the air flow without the cabin air filter as well. The blower fan on the passenger side is working normally so I know it's not a fan issue.

The issue remains regardless if I run the heat or the A/C or just outside air. Does not change air flow on passenger side even if I turn on the recycle or out it in Dual climate control.

I did remove the vent cowl? On the top center of the dash and if I block the left driver vent I do get some more air pushing out into the passenger side but still not as much as the driver side. I hope that all makes sense.

Hello, I'm Danny.

It sounds like you might be having an issue from the passenger air mix actuator. It's a small electric actuator that opens and closes an air door to route air throughout the hvac box and vents. Here is a tutor showing how to replace an air door-blend door actuator which is similar:

I've attached pictures below on how to replace the passenger air mix actuator on your car. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Thank you Danny. I was starting to think the same thing as well. I'll pull it and see if it does anything as far as movement when not attached to the door itself. I'll follow up when I find out for sure.
