Vehicle starts and dies immediately each time.

Vehicle will start up and then die about 1-2 seconds afterwards. Diagnostics read po101 and po420. I have cleaned the MAF with no success and the fuel pump seems to still be working properly. So far it seems like the vehicle's computer is cutting off the engine but I still can't figure out what is causing the problem.

Have a pro diagnose this as it cold be another sensor other than the maf as well as the maf. Or you could try replacing the maf as cleaning does little if the voltages aren't correct

I think that the problem is not related to the codes your getting, it sounds like a security issue to me. Do you have any security lights on or flashing?
