Engine shuts off when I let off the accelerator pedal

Have several places that look like a vacuum line should go but there isn't. Car ran okay for a few weeks and now when it starts it won't stay running. The missing lines haven't been there since before it was mine. If I stay on the gas it runs but shuts off as soon as I let off pedal.
