I need to pull my fuse box out of the way to get to my brake booster on my car listed above. My Haynes book says it just pulls forward but it only moves a hair. I don't see anything holding it in and I'm afraid of using brute strength but it seems like it's seized up in the bracket. Is there a trick to pulling this out of the way? Oh, and I disconnected the power wire. Thanks

Hello,

Couple of items to remember. Be sure to remove all the fuses and relays before trying to remove the fuse block as well as having your battery disconnected.
There should be a retainer tab on the under side of the block on the front. Push up on the tab and slide forward the block.

I have attached the complete replacement procedure (see below).

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.

Your info was right for the most part. The problem I had was the bracket itself prevented me to reach it from the front. I had to pull the master cylinder out, too far maybe, and reach under from the side.
