I have just replaced the ball joints and outer tie rods. I cannot get grease into these new suspension components. Tried all three of my grease guns and no problem with grease pumping out of the gun or through the unattached grease fitting, but when I attach the zerk fitting I can put my weight into the grease gun with little to no grease going where its needed. Am I missing something here or possibly defects in these new parts? Regards,
Chris

I would look inside the hole the zerk fits in and make sure it isn't bottoming out, it could be the zerks are longer than needed. If that isn't the case then it could be defective parts but I sort of doubt that they are all bad.

The only other thing is that the grease needs a place to flow into and maybe those joints are set up where you need to remove the load from the internal ball before they will take grease, but that would make it interesting if you can only grease the parts using other tools.
