I can turn the car over but it will not start. It tries to but does not. I replaced the whole distributor and new MAP sensor, new spark plugs and wires. Here is the weird part if I disconnect the fuel line at the pulse damper it starts and runs for like three seconds. But, if I replace the fuel line it does the same thing turns over and acts like it is going start but does not and no it does not have any codes when I hooked up my OBD II up to it. Can some one figure this one out or at least an idea?

Hello,

Two things come to mind, first is low compression Please check it using this guide.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-engine-compression

If you don't have a gauge you can rent one for free from the auto parts store.

Next is the timing belt has jumped a tooth. Here is a guide to show you how the marks should be.

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
