Three new fuel pumps, fuel filter, still the car turns over but does not fire up unless primed. The runs like a champ until turned off after sitting no start until primed. Even placed two new fuel check valves in the line to make sure fuel wasn't draining back still no help.

I attached some testing for the fuel pressure regulator. I imagine this is the issue.

When you say you are priming the system, how are you doing this? Are you spraying starter fluid in the intake?

Let me know what you find with this testing and we can go from there. Thanks

Yes, spraying starter fluid in intake fuel pressure regulator checked out good. I was just wondering when I last replaced the fuel pump I replaced the whole sending unit the new sending unit didn't have the low fuel indicator on it, but I don't think that should affect it. Should it? Thanks

Okay. If the regulator is okay, but the only way it starts is with starter fluid then we need to check the fuel pressure even though you have replaced the pump. We need to make sure the pressure is correct. We can assume it is but we are still assuming.

Let me know what it is with key on and then running.
