Yesterday my truck made a loud revving noise when I went to give it gas. I put a little bit of oil in it and it was running okay. Now today my truck wont start it sounds like it wants to turn over, but does not. Sounds as if it needed gas but gas is full.

When you say it sounds like it want's to turn over do you mean the engine is actually turning when you try to start it but it doesn't start? OR do you just hear the starter motor turning but the engine doesn't actually turn?

If you turn on the headlights are they bright or very dim? What do they do when you try to start the truck?

OK, next step will be to check for fuel, If you remove the fuel cap and have someone turn the key on NOT start, just to the run position, you should hear the fuel pump in the tank turn on for a couple seconds. If you don't hear anything, give the gas tank a hard whack with something and try again. If no noise the fuel pump has failed. Sadly it's very common. To verify it you can hook a pressure gauge to the test port and see what it has for pressure.
