My trunk won't open when I push the trunk button in the glove box, so I want to fix it.

Hello,

Did you check to make sure the electrical connector is plugged into the button? I have the same setup in my vehicle and this has happened to me before. Get back to us with what you find out and we can continue from there if necessary.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Okay, let's start tracing down the circuit until we find the open. I have included a wiring diagram of the circuit in the diagrams down below. You will need to use a multi-meter to do this so if you are unfamiliar with how to use one I have included a link for you to go to below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

So let's start at the top of the circuit and work our way down. Can you please confirm the fuse #6 (15A) is not blown. The fuse panel is located under the dash on the left of the steering column. Get back to us with what you find out. If the fuse is still good, we will go from there.

Thanks,
Alex
