Transmission shift solenoid A replacement?

Can you replace the transmission shift solenoid A without removing the transmission?

Hi,

The transmission solenoid body can be removed without removing the transmission. However, it isn't a fun job.

If you look at the attached pic below, I circled the solenoid body. That will need to be removed to replace the solenoid. Also, it is attached to the valve body.

Thanks for the feedback. Doesn't look too bad other than having to remove the turbo lines from Infront of the pan.

No problem whatsoever. It really shouldn't be too bad other than space to work. And yes, the turbo lines do need to be removed.
