Transmission does not engage

AX4N transmission removed and replaced torque converter, pump seal, then reinstalled. Starts up in park and neutral but does not move in other positions. Scanner says 0 codes.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The first thing I suggest is to check the plug on the transmission sensor. That is what identifies the gear selected. See picture 1

Make sure none of the pins are damaged or corroded and that the plug is tight. Also, check to make sire none of the wiring was pinched during the procedure.

Also, I assume the trans fluid was refilled after the procedure, so here is a test for the range sensor. It is contained in the pics below. If there is something you can't read or find you need help, let me know.
