Put in a new used transmission yesterday evening. Drove about three and half miles up the road this morning until it went into neutral. Now, it is stuck there. Only thing it does is flash the 4wd lights on then off, but will not shift.

Make sure the shifter has not disengaged and the box is not actually selecting gears, check oil level and if all is ok, you may have a problem internally with the transmission, do you know if there was any previous issue with the transmission and if it was sitting for a long time before being re installed in your car, valve bodies and solenoid valves and gum up if not operated for long periods of time.
