The transmission was slipping so we put transmission fluid in it, but it was the wrong kind. So we have to get it drained out new filter in the pan on but the pan went on properly so it leaked out so when they put the new pan back on there they strip the hose so if I put transmission fluid in it again becasue it's just going to reverse and I drive now will it work.

Hi,

I'm a bit confused. What hose was stripped? Also, this is a CVT transmission, so it's important to get all the wrong fluid removed. I would recommend power flushing the system. That way, all the old fluid is removed, and the new, correct fluid is added.

Also, when they installed the pan and it leaked, was the vehicle driven at all that way? Are there any odd sounds coming from the engine? Also, are we certain the fluid level is full?

Let me know. If you only have reverse, I would recommend having the can-bus scanned to see if there is a code identifying the issue. CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the modules/computers are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan retrieves codes regardless of the module storing them. Here is a link that explains how it's done.

If you are able to have that done, I feel it would be a big help.

Let me know.
