Transmision not going in gear will not Move out of driveway until warmed up?

Then on road does not shift right and sometimes slips once on highway at speed is okay.

Hi,

This can be the result of a few things. First, have you checked the transmission fluid condition and level? If not, start with that.

Transmission fluid expands when it gets hot, so that may be why it works best once the engine is warm.

If that checks good, I need to know if the check engine light is staying on while the engine is running. If it is, I recommend having the can-bus scanned. CAN stands for controller area network. I have a feeling the transmission line pressure may be low, and this should indicate if there is a code related to it.

The CAN basically is nothing more than a few wires that connect the different modules. It will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them. Here is a link that explains how it's done.
