Starter motor engagement

2001 taoyota tacoma, 4x4, v-6, standard trans, 105,000 mi
Starter motor does not engage all the time when ignition key is turned. Recently, starter motor did not disengage after engine started. Starter motor even kept running after ign key was turned off

Inspect and test the ignition switch sounds more like it
