1990 Toyota Pickup 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 1990 toyota 4x4 pickup with 3.0 v-6. When the pickup gets hot sometimes takes a few minutes of trying the clutch start cancel and pushing in clutch and turning over. I recently put a new starter in it thinking the contacts were bad. The contacts were bad once before and did the same thing when trying to start. With the a/c on the pickup won't even try and start. With the new starter it is less often but once in awhile it still does it. Thanks

Check for 12 volts at the small wire on the starter with key in crank position. If it doesnt have power, go to the clutch switch and test for power in and out when clutch pressed in.
