Noises problem
1993 Other Toyota Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

hi there I have change twice the front wheel brg both sides, I sent to w/shop to press the bearing but after 6 month bearing noise appear again what could be the problem I was not there during the process, is it possible the miss something eg. Bearing spacer,

Hi there,

There is no spacer, but some people think its ok to press these bearings on the inner race, this is not the way it should be done, there is a special mandrel for removing & replacing these bearings, if not used you can have problems like what you have now, also if the inner or outer grease seal was damaged water may have entered the bearing an caused a problem.
