Transmission shifts too much

Transmission has begun shifting excessively. At certain speeds and accelerator positions it will shift up and down repeatedly. Doesn't seem to be slipping and works great on the highway but can be a pain in town. Any ideas?

Unplug sensor (on top of transaxle) Use a jumper wire and connect battery power to tewrminal 1 on th esensor and ground to term 2. Hook pos lead of meter to term 3 and neg lead to term 2. Spin sensor, output voltage should go from 0-11 volts per 1 revolution of sensor shaft, if not replace it
