Hi I have the following problem:
When the engine is warm and running up to 3000 r/m and at idle, I see splashes of liquid in the reservoir of power steering. Furthermore, the wheel steering is harder and there is vibration of the engine even running. I think it might not work properly, the p/s pressure control valve of the pump. Is it easy to change?

Hi there,

The pump is not that hard to replace, with the belt off you have to disconnect the oil hoses and remove the adjuster lock bolt and the lower pivot bolt, access is a bit hard so if you have any doubts get a mechanic to do it as it is easier to do this on a hoist.

Thanks for the answer, but tell me if you know about the replacement of the p/s relief pressure valve and if this valve-switch could be responsible for the above symptoms (splashes of the liquid and engine vibration up to 3000 r/m)
